Gold was discovered in Rich Gulch in 1852, creating the town of Jacksonville at its present site. Jacksonville was the county seat for Jackson county from 1853 to 1927. It was established as a national historic monument in 1966. Jacksonville is also the home of the famous Britt Music Festival which began there in 1963.
Made in Grants Pass, Oregon.
